We’re exploring if warmer ocean temperatures in San Diego have a big impact on kelp forests over time, including year-to-year changes.

Hypothesis: The underlying hypothesis being tested is that increasing ocean temperatures have a substantial impact on the health and overall vitality of kelp forests. It’s hypothesized that these changes can manifest over both long-term and interannual timeframes.
